Sura 56: AL-WAQIA (THE EVENT) - Juz' 27

Qarib: We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see
Sarwar: We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see.
Shakir: And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see--
Pickthall: - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not -
Yusufali: But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,-
Qarib: why then, if you are not revived,
Sarwar: If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment,
Shakir: Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority--
Pickthall: Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us),
Yusufali: Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,-
Qarib: do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful?
Sarwar: why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)?
Shakir: That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful?
Pickthall: Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful?
Yusufali: Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)?
Qarib: If he is among the near
Sarwar: (If a dying soul) is of those near to God,
Shakir: Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah),
Pickthall: Thus if he is of those brought nigh,
Yusufali: Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah,
Qarib: there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight.
Sarwar: it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise.
Shakir: Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss
Pickthall: Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight.
Yusufali: (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights.
Qarib: If he is a Companion of the Right
Sarwar: If it is of the people of the right hand,
Shakir: And if he is one of those on the right hand,
Pickthall: And if he is of those on the right hand,
Yusufali: And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand,
Qarib: (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right! '
Sarwar: it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security.
Shakir: Then peace to you from those on the right hand
Pickthall: Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand.
Yusufali: (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand.
Qarib: But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray,
Sarwar: If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray,
Shakir: And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones,
Pickthall: But if he is of the rejecters, the erring,
Yusufali: And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong,
Qarib: there shall be a hospitality of boiling water,
Sarwar: its dwelling will be boiling water
Shakir: He shall have an entertainment of boiling water,
Pickthall: Then the welcome will be boiling water
Yusufali: For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water.
Qarib: and a roasting in Hell.
Sarwar: and the heat of hell fire.
Shakir: And burning in hell
Pickthall: And roasting at hell-fire.
Yusufali: And burning in Hell-Fire.
