Sura 20: TA-HA (TA-HA) - Juz' 16

قَالَ خُذْهَا وَلَا تَخَفْ سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيرَتَهَا الْأُولَى ﴿۲۱﴾
Qarib: 'Take it, and do not fear, ' He said, 'We will restore it to its former state.
Sarwar: The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form."
Shakir: He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state:
Pickthall: He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state.
Yusufali: (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition"..
وَاضْمُمْ يَدَكَ إِلَى جَنَاحِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوءٍ آيَةً أُخْرَى ﴿۲۲﴾
Qarib: Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign.
Sarwar: "Now - as another Sign - place your hand under your arm and it will come out sheer white without harm (or stain).
Shakir: And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign:
Pickthall: And thrust thy hand within thine armpit, it will come forth white without hurt. (That will be) another token.
Yusufali: "Now draw thy hand close to thy side: It shall come forth white (and shining), without harm (or stain),- as another Sign,-
لِنُرِيَكَ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا الْكُبْرَى ﴿۲۳﴾
Qarib: But We shall show you some of Our greatest signs.
Sarwar: This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles.
Shakir: That We may show you of Our greater signs:
Pickthall: That We may show thee (some) of Our greater portents,
Yusufali: "In order that We may show thee (two) of our Greater Signs.
اذْهَبْ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَى ﴿۲۴﴾
Qarib: 24 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent. '
Sarwar: Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel."
Shakir: Go to Firon, surely he has exceeded all limits
Pickthall: Go thou unto Pharaoh! Lo! he hath transgressed (the bounds).
Yusufali: "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds."
قَالَ رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ﴿۲۵﴾
Qarib: 'Lord, ' said Moses, 'expand my chest,
Sarwar: Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage.
Shakir: He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me,
Pickthall: (Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind
Yusufali: (Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast;
وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي ﴿۲۶﴾
Qarib: and ease my task for me.
Sarwar: Make my task easy
Shakir: And make my affair easy to me,
Pickthall: And ease my task for me;
Yusufali: "Ease my task for me;
وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي ﴿۲۷﴾
Qarib: Unloose the knot upon my tongue,
Sarwar: and my tongue fluent
Shakir: And loose the knot from my tongue,
Pickthall: And loose a knot from my tongue,
Yusufali: "And remove the impediment from my speech,
يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي ﴿۲۸﴾
Qarib: that they may understand my speech.
Sarwar: so that they may understand me.
Shakir: (That) they may understand my word;
Pickthall: That they may understand my saying.
Yusufali: "So they may understand what I say:
وَاجْعَلْ لِي وَزِيرًا مِنْ أَهْلِي ﴿۲۹﴾
Qarib: Appoint for me a minister from my family
Sarwar: Appoint a deputy (for me) from my own people.
Shakir: And give to me an aider from my family:
Pickthall: Appoint for me a henchman from my folk,
Yusufali: "And give me a Minister from my family,
هَارُونَ أَخِي ﴿۳۰﴾
Qarib: Aaron, my brother.
Sarwar: Let it be my brother Aaron
Shakir: Haroun, my brother,
Pickthall: Aaron, my brother.
Yusufali: "Aaron, my brother;
