Sura 78: AN-NABA (THE TIDINGS) - Juz' 30

Qarib: and We made the day for a livelihood.
Sarwar: and the day as time for you to make a living?
Shakir: And We made the day for seeking livelihood
Pickthall: And have appointed the day for livelihood.
Yusufali: And made the day as a means of subsistence?
Qarib: And We built above you seven strong ones,
Sarwar: Have We not made seven strong heavens above you,
Shakir: And We made above you seven strong ones,
Pickthall: And We have built above you seven strong (heavens),
Yusufali: And (have We not) built over you the seven firmaments,
Qarib: and placed in them a blazing lamp
Sarwar: (the sun) as a shining torch
Shakir: And We made a shining lamp,
Pickthall: And have appointed a dazzling lamp,
Yusufali: And placed (therein) a Light of Splendour?
Qarib: and have sent down from the clouds, pouring rain
Sarwar: and sent down heavy rains from the clouds
Shakir: And We send down from the clouds water pouring forth abundantly,
Pickthall: And have sent down from the rainy clouds abundant water,
Yusufali: And do We not send down from the clouds water in abundance,
Qarib: that We may bring forth with it grain, plants
Sarwar: to make the seeds, plants,
Shakir: That We may bring forth thereby corn and herbs,
Pickthall: Thereby to produce grain and plant,
Yusufali: That We may produce therewith corn and vegetables,
Qarib: and luxuriant gardens.
Sarwar: and thick gardens grow?
Shakir: And gardens dense and luxuriant
Pickthall: And gardens of thick foliage.
Yusufali: And gardens of luxurious growth?
Qarib: Indeed, the Day of Decision is an appointed time,
Sarwar: The Day of Judgment will certainly be the final appointment.
Shakir: Surely the day of decision is (a day) appointed:
Pickthall: Lo! the Day of Decision is a fixed time,
Yusufali: Verily the Day of Sorting out is a thing appointed,
Qarib: the Day that the Horn is blown, and you shall come in crowds
Sarwar: On that day the trumpet will be sounded and you will come (to Us) in huge groups.
Shakir: The day on which the trumpet shall be blown so you shall come forth in hosts,
Pickthall: A day when the trumpet is blown and ye come in multitudes,
Yusufali: The Day that the Trumpet shall be sounded, and ye shall come forth in crowds;
Qarib: and heaven is opened, having gates,
Sarwar: The heavens will have openings like doors.
Shakir: And the heaven shall be opened so that it shall be all openings,
Pickthall: And the heaven is opened and becometh as gates,
Yusufali: And the heavens shall be opened as if there were doors,
Qarib: and the mountains move, and vaporize.
Sarwar: The mountains will be driven away and become like mirages.
Shakir: And the mountains shall be moved off so that they shall remain a mere semblance
Pickthall: And the hills are set in motion and become as a mirage.
Yusufali: And the mountains shall vanish, as if they were a mirage.
