النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ
﴿۳﴾
(It is) the piercing star. (3)
إِنْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
﴿۴﴾
For every soul there is a watcher. (4)
فَلْيَنْظُرِ الْإِنْسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
﴿۵﴾
Let the human reflect of what he is created. (5)
خُلِقَ مِنْ مَاءٍ دَافِقٍ
﴿۶﴾
He was created from ejaculated water (6)
يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ
﴿۷﴾
that issues from between the loins and the ribs. (7)
إِنَّهُ عَلَى رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ
﴿۸﴾
Surely, He is Able to bring him back, (8)
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ
﴿۹﴾
on the Day when consciences are examined, (9)
فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ
﴿۱۰﴾
when he will be helpless, with no supporter. (10)
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ
﴿۱۱﴾
By the sky with its returning rain, (11)
وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ
﴿۱۲﴾
and by the earth bursting with vegetation; (12)
