فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورًا
﴿۱۱﴾
He surely will invoke destruction (11)
وَيَصْلَى سَعِيرًا
﴿۱۲﴾
And be thrown to scorching fire. (12)
إِنَّهُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا
﴿۱۳﴾
He verily lived joyous with his folk, (13)
إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَ
﴿۱۴﴾
He verily deemed that he would never return (unto Allah). (14)
بَلَى إِنَّ رَبَّهُ كَانَ بِهِ بَصِيرًا
﴿۱۵﴾
Nay, but lo! his Lord is ever looking on him! (15)
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ
﴿۱۶﴾
Oh, I swear by the afterglow of sunset, (16)
وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ
﴿۱۷﴾
And by the night and all that it enshroudeth, (17)
وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ
﴿۱۸﴾
And by the moon when she is at the full, (18)
لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍ
﴿۱۹﴾
That ye shall journey on from plane to plane. (19)
فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
﴿۲۰﴾
What aileth them, then, that they believe not (20)
