Sura 88: AL-GHASHIYA (THE OVERWHELMING) - Juz' 30 - Translation Pickthall
لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنْ جُوعٍ
﴿۷﴾
Which doth not nourish nor release from hunger. (7)
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاعِمَةٌ
﴿۸﴾
In that day other faces will be calm, (8)
لِسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ
﴿۹﴾
Glad for their effort past, (9)
فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ
﴿۱۰﴾
In a high Garden (10)
لَا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً
﴿۱۱﴾
Where they hear no idle speech, (11)
فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ
﴿۱۲﴾
Wherein is a gushing spring, (12)
فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَرْفُوعَةٌ
﴿۱۳﴾
Wherein are couches raised (13)
وَأَكْوَابٌ مَوْضُوعَةٌ
﴿۱۴﴾
And goblets set at hand (14)
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ
﴿۱۵﴾
And cushions ranged (15)
وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
﴿۱۶﴾
And silken carpets spread. (16)
