Sura 81: AT-TAKWIR (THE OVERTHROWING) - Juz' 30 - Translation Pickthall

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ ﴿۱﴾

When the sun is overthrown, (1)

وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انْكَدَرَتْ ﴿۲﴾

And when the stars fall, (2)

وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ ﴿۳﴾

And when the hills are moved, (3)

وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ ﴿۴﴾

And when the camels big with young are abandoned, (4)

وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ ﴿۵﴾

And when the wild beasts are herded together, (5)

وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ ﴿۶﴾

And when the seas rise, (6)

وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ ﴿۷﴾

And when souls are reunited, (7)

وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ ﴿۸﴾

And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked (8)

بِأَيِّ ذَنْبٍ قُتِلَتْ ﴿۹﴾

For what sin she was slain, (9)

وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ ﴿۱۰﴾

And when the pages are laid open, (10)
