بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ
﴿۱﴾
Qarib: O you (Prophet Muhamad), the cloaked,
Sarwar: Cloaked one, Shakir: O you who are clothed! Pickthall: O thou enveloped in thy cloak, Yusufali: O thou wrapped up (in the mantle)!
قُمْ فَأَنْذِرْ
﴿۲﴾
Qarib: arise and warn,
Sarwar: stand up, deliver your warning, Shakir: Arise and warn, Pickthall: Arise and warn! Yusufali: Arise and deliver thy warning!
وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ
﴿۳﴾
Qarib: and exalt your Lord,
Sarwar: proclaim the greatness of your Lord, Shakir: And your Lord do magnify, Pickthall: Thy Lord magnify, Yusufali: And thy Lord do thou magnify!
وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ
﴿۴﴾
Qarib: and purify your clothing,
Sarwar: cleanse your clothes, Shakir: And your garments do purify, Pickthall: Thy raiment purify, Yusufali: And thy garments keep free from stain!
وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ
﴿۵﴾
Qarib: and flee from the statues!
Sarwar: stay away from sins Shakir: And uncleanness do shun, Pickthall: Pollution shun! Yusufali: And all abomination shun!
وَلَا تَمْنُنْ تَسْتَكْثِرُ
﴿۶﴾
Qarib: Do not give, thinking to gain greater
Sarwar: and do not think that by doing such deeds, you have done a great favor to God. Shakir: And bestow not favors that you may receive again with increase, Pickthall: And show not favour, seeking wordly gain! Yusufali: Nor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)!
وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ
﴿۷﴾
Qarib: be patient unto your Lord.
Sarwar: Exercise patience to please your Lord. Shakir: And for the sake of your Lord, be patient Pickthall: For the sake of thy Lord, be patient! Yusufali: But, for thy Lord's (Cause), be patient and constant!
فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُورِ
﴿۸﴾
Qarib: When the Horn is blown,
Sarwar: When the trumpet is sounded,. Shakir: For when the trumpet is sounded, Pickthall: For when the trumpet shall sound, Yusufali: Finally, when the Trumpet is sounded,
فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ
﴿۹﴾
Qarib: that shall be a Harsh Day
Sarwar: it will be a hard day Shakir: That, at that time, shall be a difficult day, Pickthall: Surely that day will be a day of anguish, Yusufali: That will be- that Day - a Day of Distress,-
عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ غَيْرُ يَسِيرٍ
﴿۱۰﴾
Qarib: and it will not be easy for the unbelievers.
Sarwar: and for the disbelievers, in particular, it will not be at all easy. Shakir: For the unbelievers, anything but easy Pickthall: Not of ease, for disbelievers. Yusufali: Far from easy for those without Faith. |
