Sarwar: This is the torment that you persistently doubted".
Shakir: Surely this is what you disputed about
Pickthall: Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt.
Yusufali: "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!"

Sarwar: The pious ones will be in a secure place
Shakir: Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place,
Pickthall: Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured.

Qarib: amidst gardens and fountains,
Sarwar: amid gardens and springs,
Shakir: In gardens and springs;
Pickthall: Amid gardens and watersprings,
Yusufali: Among Gardens and Springs;
Qarib: dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face.
Sarwar: clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another.
Shakir: They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face;
Pickthall: Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another.
Yusufali: Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other;
Qarib: As such, We shall wed them to wideeyed houris (the virgins of Paradise).
Sarwar: We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes.
Shakir: Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones
Pickthall: Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes.
Yusufali: So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes.
Qarib: There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit.
Sarwar: They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security.
Shakir: They shall call therein for every fruit in security;
Pickthall: They call therein for every fruit in safety.
Yusufali: There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security;
Qarib: There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell,
Sarwar: They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through.
Shakir: They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell,
Pickthall: They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell,
Yusufali: Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,-
Qarib: as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph.
Sarwar: God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph.
Shakir: A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement
Pickthall: A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph.
Yusufali: As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement!
Qarib: We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember.
Sarwar: We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed.
Shakir: So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful
Pickthall: And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed.
Yusufali: Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed.
Qarib: So be watchful, they too are watching.
Sarwar: Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting.
Shakir: Therefore wait; surely they are waiting
Pickthall: Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting.
Yusufali: So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting.
