Sura 26: AL-SHUARA (THE POETS) - Juz' 19

Qarib: who sees you when you stand
Sarwar: who can see whether you stand up
Shakir: Who sees you when you stand up
Pickthall: Who seeth thee when thou standest up (to pray)
Yusufali: Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer),
Qarib: and when you turn among those who prostrate themselves.
Sarwar: or move during your prostration with the worshippers.
Shakir: And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah
Pickthall: And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship).
Yusufali: And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves,
Qarib: Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower.
Sarwar: He is All-hearing and All-knowing."
Shakir: Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing
Pickthall: Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower.
Yusufali: For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things.
Qarib: Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend?
Sarwar: Should I tell you to whom the satans come?
Shakir: Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend?
Pickthall: Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend?
Yusufali: Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend?
Qarib: They descend on every guilty impostor.
Sarwar: They come to every sinful liar.
Shakir: They descend upon every lying, sinful one,
Pickthall: They descend on every sinful, false one.
Yusufali: They descend on every lying, wicked person,
Qarib: They listen, but most of them are liars.
Sarwar: The satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars.
Shakir: They incline their ears, and most of them are liars
Pickthall: They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars.
Yusufali: (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars.
Qarib: Poets are followed by the perverse.
Sarwar: Only the erring people follow the poets.
Shakir: And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them
Pickthall: As for poets, the erring follow them.
Yusufali: And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them:
Qarib: Have you not seen how they wander in every valley,
Sarwar: Have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley
Shakir: Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley?
Pickthall: Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley,
Yusufali: Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?-
Qarib: and they say what they do not do?
Sarwar: and preaching what they themselves never practice.
Shakir: And that they say that which they do not do,
Pickthall: And how they say that which they do not?
Yusufali: And that they say what they practise not?-
Qarib: Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell).
Sarwar: The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be.
Shakir: Except those who believe and do good and remember Allah much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back
Pickthall: Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned!
Yusufali: Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take!
