Sura 2: AL-BAQARA (THE COW) - Juz' 1

Qarib: Who believe in the unseen and establish the (daily) prayer; who spend out of what We have provided them.
Sarwar: the pious who believe in the unseen, attend to prayer, give in charity part of what We have granted them;
Shakir: Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them
Pickthall: Who believe in the Unseen, and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them;
Yusufali: Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;
Qarib: Who believe in that which has been sent down to you (Prophet Muhammad) and what has been sent down before you (to Prophets Jesus and Moses) and firmly believe in the Everlasting Life.
Sarwar: who have faith in what has been revealed to you and others before you and have strong faith in the life hereafter.
Shakir: And who believe in that which has been revealed to you and that which was revealed before you and they are sure of the hereafter
Pickthall: And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter.
Yusufali: And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter.
Qarib: These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous.
Sarwar: It is the pious who follow the guidance of their Lord and gain lasting happiness.
Shakir: These are on a right course from their Lord and these it is that shall be successful
Pickthall: These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful.
Yusufali: They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.
Qarib: Those who disbelieve, whether you forewarn them or not, they will not believe.
Sarwar: Those who deny your message will not believe whether you warn them or not
Shakir: Surely those who disbelieve, it being alike to them whether you warn them, or do not warn them, will not believe
Pickthall: As for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them; they believe not.
Yusufali: As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.
Qarib: Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and ears; their sight is dimmed and for them is a great punishment.
Sarwar: God has sealed their hearts and hearing and their vision is veiled; a great punishment awaits them.
Shakir: Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and there is a covering over their eyes, and there is a great punishment for them
Pickthall: Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom.
Yusufali: Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur).
Qarib: There are some people who say: 'We believe in Allah and the Last Day, ' yet they are not believers.
Sarwar: Some people say, "We believe in God and the Day of Judgment," but they are not true believers.
Shakir: And there are some people who say: We believe in Allah and the last day; and they are not at all believers
Pickthall: And of mankind are some who say: We believe in Allah and the Last Day, when they believe not.
Yusufali: Of the people there are some who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day;" but they do not (really) believe.
Qarib: They seek to deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive none except themselves, though they do not sense it.
Sarwar: They deceive God and the believers. However, they have deceived no one but themselves, a fact of which they are not aware.
Shakir: They desire to deceive Allah and those who believe, and they deceive only themselves and they do not perceive
Pickthall: They think to beguile Allah and those who believe, and they beguile none save themselves; but they perceive not.
Yusufali: Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realise (it) not!
Qarib: There is a sickness in their hearts which Allah has increased. For them there is a painful punishment because they lie.
Sarwar: A sickness exists in their hearts to which God adds more sickness. Besides this, they will suffer a painful punishment as a result of the lie which they speak.
Shakir: There is a disease in their hearts, so Allah added to their disease and they shall have a painful chastisement because they
Pickthall: In their hearts is a disease, and Allah increaseth their disease. A painful doom is theirs because they lie.
Yusufali: In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease: And grievous is the penalty they (incur), because they are false (to themselves).
Qarib: When it is said to them, 'Do not corrupt in the land, ' they reply, 'We are only reformers. '
Sarwar: When they are told not to commit corruption in the land, they reply, "We are only reformers".
Shakir: And when it is said to them, Do not make mischief in the land, they say: We are but peace-makers
Pickthall: And when it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth, they say: We are peacemakers only.
Yusufali: When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!"
Qarib: But it is they who are the evildoers, though they do not sense it.
Sarwar: They, certainly, are corrupt but do not realize it.
Shakir: Now surely they themselves are the mischief makers, but they do not perceive
Pickthall: Are not they indeed the mischief-makers? But they perceive not.
Yusufali: Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.
