بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
﴿۱﴾
Qarib: Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of people,
Sarwar: (Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Cherisher of mankind, Shakir: Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men, Pickthall: Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, Yusufali: Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
﴿۲﴾
Qarib: the King of people,
Sarwar: the King of mankind, Shakir: The King of men, Pickthall: The King of mankind, Yusufali: The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
إِلَهِ النَّاسِ
﴿۳﴾
Qarib: the God of people,
Sarwar: the Lord of mankind Shakir: The god of men, Pickthall: The god of mankind, Yusufali: The god (or judge) of Mankind,-
مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
﴿۴﴾
Qarib: from the evil of the slinking whisperer.
Sarwar: against the evil of the temptations of the satans, Shakir: From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Shaitan), Pickthall: From the evil of the sneaking whisperer, Yusufali: From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),-
الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
﴿۵﴾
Qarib: who whispers in the chests of people,
Sarwar: of jinn and human beings Shakir: Who whispers into the hearts of men, Pickthall: Who whispereth in the hearts of mankind, Yusufali: (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
﴿۶﴾
Qarib: both jinn and people.'
Sarwar: who induce temptation into the hearts of mankind. Shakir: From among the jinn and the men Pickthall: Of the jinn and of mankind. Yusufali: Among Jinns and among men. |
