سوره 89: الفجر - جزء 30

كَلَّا إِذَا دُكَّتِ الْأَرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا ﴿۲۱﴾
Qarib: No! But when the earth quakes and is pounded,
Sarwar: When the earth is crushed into small pieces
Shakir: Nay! when the earth is made to crumble to pieces,
Pickthall: Nay, but when the earth is ground to atoms, grinding, grinding,
Yusufali: Nay! When the earth is pounded to powder,
وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا ﴿۲۲﴾
Qarib: and your Lord comes with the angels, rank upon rank,
Sarwar: and (when you find yourself) in the presence of your Lord and the rows and rows of angels, your greed for riches will certainly be of no avail to you.
Shakir: And your Lord comes and (also) the angels in ranks,
Pickthall: And thy Lord shall come with angels, rank on rank,
Yusufali: And thy Lord cometh, and His angels, rank upon rank,
وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنْسَانُ وَأَنَّى لَهُ الذِّكْرَى ﴿۲۳﴾
Qarib: and Gehenna (Hell) is brought near on that Day the human will remember, and how shall the Reminder be for him?
Sarwar: On that day, hell will be brought closer and the human being will come to his senses, but this will be of no avail to him.
Shakir: And hell is made to appear on that day. On that day shall man be mindful, and what shall being mindful (then) avail him?
Pickthall: And hell is brought near that day; on that day man will remember, but how will the remembrance (then avail him)?
Yusufali: And Hell, that Day, is brought (face to face),- on that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance profit him?
يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي ﴿۲۴﴾
Qarib: He will say: 'Would that I had forwarded (good works) for my life!'
Sarwar: He will say, "Would that I had done some good deeds for this life".
Shakir: He shall say: O! would that I had sent before for (this) my life!
Pickthall: He will say: Ah, would that I had sent before me (some provision) for my life!
Yusufali: He will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life!"
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُ أَحَدٌ ﴿۲۵﴾
Qarib: But on that Day none will punish as He (Allah) will punish,
Sarwar: On that day the punishment of God and His detention will be unparalleled.
Shakir: But on that day shall no one chastise with (anything like) His chastisement,
Pickthall: None punisheth as He will punish on that day!
Yusufali: For, that Day, His Chastisement will be such as none (else) can inflict,
وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُ أَحَدٌ ﴿۲۶﴾
Qarib: nor will any bind as He binds.
Sarwar: And His bonds will be such as none other can bind.
Shakir: And no one shall bind with (anything like) His binding
Pickthall: None bindeth as He then will bind.
Yusufali: And His bonds will be such as none (other) can bind.
يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ ﴿۲۷﴾
Qarib: O satisfied soul,
Sarwar: Serene soul,
Shakir: O soul that art at rest!
Pickthall: But ah! thou soul at peace!
Yusufali: (To the righteous soul will be said:) "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction!
ارْجِعِي إِلَى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً ﴿۲۸﴾
Qarib: return to your Lord wellpleased, wellpleasing.
Sarwar: return to your Lord well pleased with him and He will be pleased with you.
Shakir: Return to your Lord, well-pleased (with him), well-pleasing (Him),
Pickthall: Return unto thy Lord, content in His good pleasure!
Yusufali: "Come back thou to thy Lord,- well pleased (thyself), and well-pleasing unto Him!
فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي ﴿۲۹﴾
Qarib: Join My worshipers and
Sarwar: Enter among My servants
Shakir: So enter among My servants,
Pickthall: Enter thou among My bondmen!
Yusufali: "Enter thou, then, among My devotees!
وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي ﴿۳۰﴾
Qarib: enter My Paradise!
Sarwar: into My Paradise.
Shakir: And enter into My garden
Pickthall: Enter thou My Garden!
Yusufali: "Yea, enter thou My Heaven!
