سوره 85: البروج - جزء 30

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ ﴿۱﴾
Qarib: By the heaven of the constellations!
Sarwar: By the heavens with constellations,
Shakir: I swear by the mansions of the stars,
Pickthall: By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars,
Yusufali: By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs;
وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ ﴿۲﴾
Qarib: By the Promised Day!
Sarwar: by the promised day,
Shakir: And the promised day,
Pickthall: And by the Promised Day.
Yusufali: By the promised Day (of Judgment);
وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ ﴿۳﴾
Qarib: By the witness and the witnessed!
Sarwar: and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment),
Shakir: And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne
Pickthall: And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony,
Yusufali: By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;-
قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الْأُخْدُودِ ﴿۴﴾
Qarib: The companions of the pit were killed
Sarwar: may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches
Shakir: Cursed be the makers of the pit,
Pickthall: (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch
Yusufali: Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire),
النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ ﴿۵﴾
Qarib: the fire with its fuel,
Sarwar: by a burning fire
Shakir: Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel,
Pickthall: Of the fuel-fed fire,
Yusufali: Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel:
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ ﴿۶﴾
Qarib: when they were seated around it
Sarwar: while they themselves sat around it
Shakir: When they sat by it,
Pickthall: When they sat by it,
Yusufali: Behold! they sat over against the (fire),
وَهُمْ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ ﴿۷﴾
Qarib: and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers
Sarwar: witnessing what they were doing.
Shakir: And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers
Pickthall: And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers.
Yusufali: And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers.
وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ ﴿۸﴾
Qarib: and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised,
Sarwar: The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy.
Shakir: And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised,
Pickthall: They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise,
Yusufali: And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!-
الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ ﴿۹﴾
Qarib: to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things.
Sarwar: and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things.
Shakir: Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things
Pickthall: Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness.
Yusufali: Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ ﴿۱۰﴾
Qarib: Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning.
Sarwar: Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire.
Shakir: Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning
Pickthall: Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning.
Yusufali: Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ ﴿۱۱﴾
Qarib: (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory!
Sarwar: As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph.
Shakir: Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement
Pickthall: Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success.
Yusufali: For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires),
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ ﴿۱۲﴾
Qarib: Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe.
Sarwar: The vengeance of God is terribly severe.
Shakir: Surely the might of your Lord is great
Pickthall: Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern.
Yusufali: Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord.
إِنَّهُ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ ﴿۱۳﴾
Qarib: It is He who originates and repeats.
Sarwar: It is He who creates all things and causes them to return.
Shakir: Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces,
Pickthall: Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth,
Yusufali: It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life).
وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الْوَدُودُ ﴿۱۴﴾
Qarib: And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving.
Sarwar: He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One,
Shakir: And He is the Forgiving, the Loving,
Pickthall: And He is the Forgiving, the Loving,
Yusufali: And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness,
ذُو الْعَرْشِ الْمَجِيدُ ﴿۱۵﴾
Qarib: Owner of the Throne, the Exalted.
Sarwar: the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One,
Shakir: Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious,
Pickthall: Lord of the Throne of Glory,
Yusufali: Lord of the Throne of Glory,
فَعَّالٌ لِمَا يُرِيدُ ﴿۱۶﴾
Qarib: The Doer of whatever He wants.
Sarwar: and the Most Effective in His decision.
Shakir: The great doer of what He will
Pickthall: Doer of what He will.
Yusufali: Doer (without let) of all that He intends.
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ ﴿۱۷﴾
Qarib: Has it come to you the story of the hosts
Sarwar: Have you not heard about the stories of the armies
Shakir: Has not there come to you the story of the hosts,
Pickthall: Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts
Yusufali: Has the story reached thee, of the forces-
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ ﴿۱۸﴾
Qarib: of Pharaoh and of Thamood?
Sarwar: of the Pharaoh and Thamud?
Shakir: Of Firon and Samood?
Pickthall: Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud?
Yusufali: Of Pharaoh and the Thamud?
بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي تَكْذِيبٍ ﴿۱۹﴾
Qarib: Yet the unbelievers still belie,
Sarwar: In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations).
Shakir: Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth
Pickthall: Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial
Yusufali: And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)!
وَاللَّهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ مُحِيطٌ ﴿۲۰﴾
Qarib: Allah encompasses them all from behind.
Sarwar: However, God encompassed their activities.
Shakir: And Allah encompasses them on every side
Pickthall: And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them.
Yusufali: But Allah doth encompass them from behind!
بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَجِيدٌ ﴿۲۱﴾
Qarib: Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran,
Sarwar: What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran
Shakir: Nay! it is a glorious Quran,
Pickthall: Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an.
Yusufali: Day, this is a Glorious Qur'an,
فِي لَوْحٍ مَحْفُوظٍ ﴿۲۲﴾
Qarib: in a Guarded Tablet.
Sarwar: that exists in a well-guarded tablet.
Shakir: In a guarded tablet
Pickthall: On a guarded tablet.
Yusufali: (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved!
