بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ
﴿۱﴾
Qarib: When the sky is split,
Sarwar: When the heavens are rent asunder, Shakir: When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, Pickthall: When the heaven is cleft asunder, Yusufali: When the Sky is cleft asunder;
وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتْ
﴿۲﴾
Qarib: when the planets are scattered,
Sarwar: the stars are dispersed, Shakir: And when the stars become dispersed, Pickthall: When the planets are dispersed, Yusufali: When the Stars are scattered;
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
﴿۳﴾
Qarib: when the oceans are gushed forth,
Sarwar: the oceans are merged together, Shakir: And when the seas are made to flow forth, Pickthall: When the seas are poured forth, Yusufali: When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth;
وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
﴿۴﴾
Qarib: when the graves are overturned,
Sarwar: and the graves are turned inside out, Shakir: And when the graves are laid open, Pickthall: And the sepulchres are overturned, Yusufali: And when the Graves are turned upside down;-
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
﴿۵﴾
Qarib: the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter.
Sarwar: every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. Shakir: Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back Pickthall: A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. Yusufali: (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back.
يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ
﴿۶﴾
Qarib: O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord
Sarwar: Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, Shakir: O man ! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, Pickthall: O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, Yusufali: O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?-
الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
﴿۷﴾
Qarib: who created you, formed you and proportioned you?
Sarwar: Who created you proportionately and fashioned you Shakir: Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? Pickthall: Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? Yusufali: Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias;
فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ
﴿۸﴾
Qarib: In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you.
Sarwar: in whatever composition He wanted. Shakir: Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you Pickthall: Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. Yusufali: In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together.
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ
﴿۹﴾
Qarib: Rather, you belied the Recompense.
Sarwar: Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, Shakir: Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, Pickthall: Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. Yusufali: Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment!
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ
﴿۱۰﴾
Qarib: Yet over you there are watchers,
Sarwar: but you should know that there are angelic guards Shakir: And most surely there are keepers over you Pickthall: Lo! there are above you guardians, Yusufali: But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,-
كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ
﴿۱۱﴾
Qarib: noble scribes
Sarwar: watching over you Shakir: Honorable recorders, Pickthall: Generous and recording, Yusufali: Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds):
يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
﴿۱۲﴾
Qarib: who know of all that you do.
Sarwar: and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. Shakir: They know what you do Pickthall: Who know (all) that ye do. Yusufali: They know (and understand) all that ye do.
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ
﴿۱۳﴾
Qarib: Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss.
Sarwar: The virtuous ones will live in bliss Shakir: Most surely the righteous are in bliss, Pickthall: Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. Yusufali: As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss;
وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ
﴿۱۴﴾
Qarib: But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace,
Sarwar: and the evil-doers will be in hell Shakir: And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, Pickthall: And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; Yusufali: And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire,
يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ
﴿۱۵﴾
Qarib: roasting in it on the Day of Recompense
Sarwar: which they will enter on the Day of Judgment Shakir: They shall enter it on the day of judgment Pickthall: They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, Yusufali: Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment,
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ
﴿۱۶﴾
Qarib: and from it they shall never be absent.
Sarwar: to burn therein. Shakir: And they shall by no means be absent from it Pickthall: And will not be absent thence. Yusufali: And they will not be able to keep away therefrom.
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
﴿۱۷﴾
Qarib: What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is!
Sarwar: They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! Shakir: And what will make you realize what the day of judgement is? Pickthall: Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! Yusufali: And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is?
ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
﴿۱۸﴾
Qarib: Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is!
Sarwar: Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! Shakir: Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment Is? Pickthall: Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! Yusufali: Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is?
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ
﴿۱۹﴾
Qarib: It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah.
Sarwar: On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. Shakir: The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's Pickthall: A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. Yusufali: (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. |
