Sura 7: AL-ARAF (THE HEIGHTS) - Juz' 9

Qarib: Those whom you invoke, other than Him, cannot help you, nor can they help themselves. '
Sarwar: The idols which you (the pagans) worship besides God can neither help you nor themselves.
Shakir: And those whom you call upon besides Him are not able to help you, nor can they help themselves
Pickthall: They on whom ye call beside Him have no power to help you, nor can they help you, nor can they help themselves.
Yusufali: "But those ye call upon besides Him, are unable to help you, and indeed to help themselves."
Qarib: If you call them to guidance, they will not hear you. You see them looking towards you, but they cannot see.
Sarwar: (Muhammad), if you invite them to the right guidance, they will not listen to you. You will see them looking at you but they do not really see.
Shakir: And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking towards you, yet they do not see
Pickthall: And if ye (Muslims) call them to the guidance they hear not; and thou (Muhammad) seest them looking toward thee, but they see not.
Yusufali: If thou callest them to guidance, they hear not. Thou wilt see them looking at thee, but they see not.

Sarwar: Have forgiveness, preach the truth, and keep away from the ignorant ones.
Shakir: Take to forgiveness and enjoin good and turn aside from the ignorant
Pickthall: Keep to forgiveness (O Muhammad), and enjoin kindness, and turn away from the ignorant.
Yusufali: Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; But turn away from the ignorant.
Qarib: When satan provokes you seek refuge in Allah; He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

Qarib: Indeed, when a visitation of satan touches the cautious (worshipers) they remember, and then see clearly.
Sarwar: When a satanic thought starts to bother the pious ones, they understand and see the light
Shakir: Surely those who guard (against evil), when a visitation from the Shaitan afflicts them they become mindful, then lo! they see
Pickthall: Lo! those who ward off (evil), when a glamour from the devil troubleth them, they do but remember (Allah's Guidance) and behold them seers!
Yusufali: Those who fear Allah, when a thought of evil from Satan assaults them, bring Allah to remembrance, when lo! they see (aright)!
Qarib: And their brothers, they prolong them in error, and they will never stop.
Sarwar: while their brethren ceaselessly try to drag them into error.
Shakir: And their brethren increase them in error, then they cease not
Pickthall: Their brethren plunge them further into error and cease not.
Yusufali: But their brethren (the evil ones) plunge them deeper into error, and never relax (their efforts).
Qarib: When you do not bring them a verse, they say, 'Why have you not chosen one? ' Say: 'I follow only what is revealed to me from my Lord. This (Koran) is a veritable proof from your Lord, guidance and mercy for people who believe. '
Sarwar: If you, (Muhammad), do not show them a miracle, they will keep on insisting that you must show them one. Say, "I only follow what is revealed to me from my Lord. This (Quran) contains wisdom for you from your Lord. It contains guidance and mercy for those who have faith.

Yusufali: If thou bring them not a revelation, they say: "Why hast thou not got it together?" Say: "I but follow what is revealed to me from my Lord: this is (nothing but) lights from your Lord, and Guidance, and mercy, for any who have faith."
Qarib: When the Koran is recited, listen to it in silence in order that Allah has mercy upon you.
Sarwar: Whenever the Quran is recited (to you), listen to it quietly so that you may receive mercy.

Yusufali: And do thou (O reader!) Bring thy Lord to remembrance in thy (very) soul, with humility and in reverence, without loudness in words, in the mornings and evenings; and be not thou of those who are unheedful.
Qarib: Those who are with your Lord are not too proud to worship Him. They exalt Him and to Him they prostrate.
Sarwar: Those who are near to your Lord do not disdain from worshipping Him. They glorify Him and prostrate themselves (in obedience to Him).
Shakir: Surely those who are with your Lord are not too proud to serve Him, and they declare His glory and prostrate in humility before Him
Pickthall: Lo! those who are with thy Lord are not too proud to do Him service, but they praise Him and prostrate before Him.
