Qarib: Those who believe, and whose descendants follow in belief, We will join their descendants to them. And We will not reduce them of anything of their deeds. Every one is pledged for what he has earned.
Sarwar: The offspring of the believers will also follow them to Paradise. So shall We join their offspring to them because of their faith. We shall reduce nothing from their deeds. Everyone will be responsible for his own actions.
Shakir: And (as for) those who believe and their offspring follow them in faith, We will unite with them their offspring and We will not diminish to them aught of their work; every man is responsible for what he shall have wrought
Pickthall: And they who believe and whose seed follow them in faith, We cause their seed to join them (there), and We deprive them of nought of their (life's) work. Every man is a pledge for that which he hath earned.
Yusufali: And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds.

Sarwar: We shall provide them with fruits and the meat of the kind which they desire.

Pickthall: And We provide them with fruit and meat such as they desire.
Yusufali: And We shall bestow on them, of fruit and meat, anything they shall desire.

Qarib: There they will pass a goblet to one another with neither idle talk nor sin,
Sarwar: They will pass cups of un-intoxicating and unsinful wine to one another.
Shakir: They shall pass therein from one to another a cup wherein there shall be nothing vain nor any sin
Pickthall: There they pass from hand to hand a cup wherein is neither vanity nor cause of sin.
Yusufali: They shall there exchange, one with another, a (loving) cup free of frivolity, free of all taint of ill.
Qarib: and youths, of their own, shall pass among them as if they were hidden pearls.
Sarwar: They will be served by youths who will be as beautiful as pearls.
Shakir: And round them shall go boys of theirs as if they were hidden pearls
Pickthall: And there go round, waiting on them menservants of their own, as they were hidden pearls.
Yusufali: Round about them will serve, (devoted) to them, young male servants (handsome) as Pearls well-guarded.

Yusufali: They will advance to each other, engaging in mutual enquiry.

Qarib: 'When we were among our people, ' they will say, 'we were ever fearful,
Sarwar: saying, "We were afraid while in the world.
Shakir: Saying: Surely we feared before on account of our families:

فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ ﴿۲۷﴾

Sarwar: But God has granted us favors and saved us from the scorching heat of the torment.
Shakir: But Allah has been gracious to us and He has saved us from the punishment of the hot wind:

Sarwar: We had prayed to Him; He is Kind and All-merciful".
Shakir: Surely we called upon Him before: Surely He is the Benign, the Merciful
Pickthall: Lo! we used to pray unto Him of old. Lo! He is the Benign, the Merciful.
Yusufali: "Truly, we did call unto Him from of old: truly it is He, the Beneficent, the Merciful!"
Qarib: Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad.
Sarwar: (Muhammad), remind them, by the Grace of your Lord, that you are neither a soothsayer or an insane person.
Shakir: Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman
Pickthall: Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman.
Yusufali: Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed.

Qarib: Or do they say: 'He is a poet, we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him? '
Sarwar: Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?"
Shakir: Or do they say: A poet, we wait for him the evil accidents of time
Pickthall: Or say they: (he is) a poet, (one) for whom we may expect the accident of time?
Yusufali: Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!"
