Sura 51: ADH-DHARIYAT (THE WINNOWING WINDS) - Juz' 26

Qarib: and also in yourselves. Can you not see?
Sarwar: There is also evidence of the Truth within your own selves. Will you then not see?
Shakir: And in your own souls (too); will you not then see?
Pickthall: And (also) in yourselves. Can ye then not see?
Yusufali: As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see?
Qarib: In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised.
Sarwar: In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise).
Shakir: And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with
Pickthall: And in the heaven is your providence and that which ye are promised;
Yusufali: And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised.
Qarib: So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech.
Sarwar: This, by the Lord of the heavens and the earth is as certain as your ability to speak.
Shakir: And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth! it is most surely the truth, just as you do speak
Pickthall: And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, it is the truth, even as (it is true) that ye speak.
Yusufali: Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other.
Qarib: Have you heard the story of Abraham's honored guests?
Sarwar: Have you heard the story of the honorable guests of Abraham?
Shakir: Has there come to you information about the honored guests of Ibrahim?
Pickthall: Hath the story of Abraham's honoured guests reached thee (O Muhammad)?
Yusufali: Has the story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham?
Qarib: They entered to him and said: 'Peace. ' And he replied: 'Peace, you are people unknown to me. '
Sarwar: When they came to him saying, "Peace be with you," he replied to their greeting in the same manner and said to himself, "These are a strange people".
Shakir: When they entered upon him, they said: Peace. Peace, said he, a strange people
Pickthall: When they came in unto him and said: Peace! he answered, Peace! (and thought): Folk unknown (to me).
Yusufali: Behold, they entered his presence, and said: "Peace!" He said, "Peace!" (and thought, "These seem) unusual people."
Qarib: So he turned to his household and brought a fattened calf.
Sarwar: He went quietly to his wife and returned to his guests with a fat, roasted calf.
Shakir: Then he turned aside to his family secretly and brought a fat (roasted) calf,
Pickthall: Then he went apart unto his housefolk so that they brought a fatted calf;
Yusufali: Then he turned quickly to his household, brought out a fatted calf,
Qarib: He set it before them, saying: 'Will you not eat? '
Sarwar: He placed it before them. Then he said, "Why are you not eating?"
Shakir: So he brought it near them. He said: What! will you not eat?
Pickthall: And he set it before them, saying: Will ye not eat?
Yusufali: And placed it before them.. he said, "Will ye not eat?"
Qarib: Then he conceived a fear about them, and they said: 'Have no fear', and gave him the glad tidings that he was to have a knowledgeable son.
Sarwar: He began to feel afraid. They said, "Do not be afraid," and then gave him the glad news of the birth of a knowledgeable son.
Shakir: So he conceived in his mind a fear on account of them. They said: Fear not. And they gave him the good news of a boy possessing knowledge
Pickthall: Then he conceived a fear of them. They said: Fear not! and gave him tidings of (the birth of) a wise son.
Yusufali: (When they did not eat), He conceived a fear of them. They said, "Fear not," and they gave him glad tidings of a son endowed with knowledge.
Qarib: (Sarah) his wife came with an exclamation and clasped her face, and said: 'Surely, I am a barren old woman! '
Sarwar: His wife came forward, crying and beating her face, saying, "I am an old barren woman!"
Shakir: Then his wife came up in great grief, and she struck her face and said: An old barren woman!
Pickthall: Then his wife came forward, making moan, and smote her face, and cried: A barren old woman!
Yusufali: But his wife came forward (laughing) aloud: she smote her forehead and said: "A barren old woman!"
Qarib: 'Such, says your Lord, ' they replied: 'He is the Wise, the Knower. '
Sarwar: They said, "This is true but your Lord has said, (that you will have a son); He is All-wise and All-knowing".
Shakir: They said: Thus says your Lord: Surely He is the Wise, the Knowing
Pickthall: They said: Even so saith thy Lord. Lo! He is the Wise, the Knower.
Yusufali: They said, "Even so has thy Lord spoken: and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge."
