Qarib: Allah has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze.
Sarwar: God has condemned the unbelievers and prepared for them a burning torment
Shakir: Surely Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a burning fire,
Pickthall: Lo! Allah hath cursed the disbelievers, and hath prepared for them a flaming fire,
Yusufali: Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire,-
Qarib: Living there for ever, they shall neither find a guardian nor a helper.
Sarwar: wherein they will live forever without being able to find any guardian or helper.
Shakir: To abide therein for a long time; they shall not find a protector or a helper
Pickthall: Wherein they will abide for ever. They will find (then) no protecting friend nor helper.
Yusufali: To dwell therein for ever: no protector will they find, nor helper.
Qarib: On that Day when their faces are turned about in the Fire, they shall say: 'Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger! '
Sarwar: On the day when their faces will be turned from side to side on the fire, they will say, "Would that we had obeyed God and the Messenger!"
Shakir: On the day when their faces shall be turned back into the fire, they shall say: O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!
Pickthall: On the day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they say: Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed His messenger!
Yusufali: The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!"
Qarib: And they shall say: 'Our Lord, We obeyed our masters and our eminent ones, but they misled us from the way.
Sarwar: They will say, "Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and elders and they caused us to go astray.
Shakir: And they shall say: O our Lord! surely we obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path;
Pickthall: And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way.
Yusufali: And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path.
Qarib: Our Lord, let their punishment be doubled; and curse them with a mighty curse. '
Sarwar: Lord, make them to suffer double torment and subject them to the greatest condemnation."
Shakir: O our Lord! give them a double punishment and curse them with a great curse
Pickthall: Our Lord! Oh, give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse.
Yusufali: "Our Lord! Give them double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!"
Qarib: Believers, do not be like those who hurt Moses. Allah cleared him of what they said. His face is honorable with Allah.
Sarwar: Believers, do not be like those who annoyed Moses. God proved him to be innocent of what they had said about him. Moses was a honorable person in the sight of God.
Shakir: O you who believe! be not like those who spoke evil things of Musa, but Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was worthy of regard with Allah
Pickthall: O ye who believe! Be not as those who slandered Moses, but Allah proved his innocence of that which they alleged, and he was well esteemed in Allah's sight.
Yusufali: O ye who believe! Be ye not like those who vexed and insulted Moses, but Allah cleared him of the (calumnies) they had uttered: and he was honourable in Allah's sight.
Qarib: O you who believe, fear Allah and say sound statements,
Sarwar: Believers, have fear of God and speak righteous words.
Shakir: O you who believe! be careful of(your duty to) Allah and speak the right word,
Pickthall: O ye who believe! Guard your duty to Allah, and speak words straight to the point;
Yusufali: O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and (always) say a word directed to the Right:
Qarib: and He will mend your deeds for you and forgive your sins. Whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger shall win a great victory.
Sarwar: God will reform your deeds and forgive your sins. One who obeys God and His Messenger will certainly achieve a great success.
Shakir: He will put your deeds into a right state for you, and forgive you your faults; and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, he indeed achieves a mighty success
Pickthall: He will adjust your works for you and will forgive you your sins. Whosoever obeyeth Allah and His messenger, he verily hath gained a signal victory.
Yusufali: That He may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: He that obeys Allah and His Messenger, has already attained the highest achievement.
Qarib: We offered the trust to the heavens, and the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were afraid of it, and the human carried it. Surely, he is a harmdoer, and ignorant.
Sarwar: We offered Our Trust (Our deputation) to the heavens, to the earth, and to the mountains, but they could not bear this burden and were afraid to accept it. Mankind was able to accept this offer but he was unjust to himself and ignorant of the significance of this Trust.
Shakir: Surely We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to be unfaithful to it and feared from it, and man has turned unfaithful to it; surely he is unjust, ignorant;
Pickthall: Lo! We offered the trust unto the heavens and the earth and the hills, but they shrank from bearing it and were afraid of it. And man assumed it. Lo! he hath proved a tyrant and a fool.
Yusufali: We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man undertook it;- He was indeed unjust and foolish;-
Qarib: Allah punishes the hypocrites, men and women alike, and the idolaters, both men and women alike; and Allah turns to the believers, men and women alike. Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful.
Sarwar: (As a result of this) God will punish the hypocrites and the pagans, but He will accept the repentance of the believers. God is All-forgiving and All-merciful.
Shakir: So Allah will chastise the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women and the polytheistic men and the polytheistic women, and Allah will turn (mercifully) to the believing women, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful
Pickthall: So Allah punisheth hypocritical men and hypocritical women, and idolatrous men and idolatrous women. But Allah pardoneth believing men and believing women, and Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
Yusufali: (With the result) that Allah has to punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Unbelievers, men and women, and Allah turns in Mercy to the Believers, men and women: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
