Sura 19: MARYAM (MARY) - Juz' 16

Qarib: Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing!
Sarwar: This is certainly a monstrous lie!
Shakir: Certainly you have made an abominable assertion
Pickthall: Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing
Yusufali: Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!
Qarib: Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down
Sarwar: This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments,
Shakir: The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces,
Pickthall: Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins,
Yusufali: At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,
Qarib: because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful.
Sarwar: to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God.
Shakir: That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah
Pickthall: That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son,
Yusufali: That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious.
Qarib: It is not for the Merciful to take a son!
Sarwar: The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son.
Shakir: And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son
Pickthall: When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son.
Yusufali: For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.
Qarib: There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper.
Sarwar: All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants.
Shakir: There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant
Pickthall: There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave.
Yusufali: Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant.
Qarib: He has counted them and exactly numbered all;
Sarwar: He has counted and enumerated them one by one.
Shakir: Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering
Pickthall: Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering.
Yusufali: He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly.
Qarib: and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone.
Sarwar: Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God.
Shakir: And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone
Pickthall: And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone.
Yusufali: And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment.
Qarib: Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love.
Sarwar: To the righteously striving believers God will grant love.
Shakir: Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for t them will Allah bring about love
Pickthall: Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love.
Yusufali: On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love.
Qarib: We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation.
Sarwar: (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones.
Shakir: So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people
Pickthall: And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk.
Yusufali: So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.
Qarib: How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them?
Sarwar: How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them?
Shakir: And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them?
Pickthall: And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound?
Yusufali: But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them?
