﴿۱﴾
Qarib: The Command of Allah will surely come; do not seek to hasten it. Highly exalted is He above that they associate with Him.
Sarwar: God's help will certainly support (the believers), so pagans do not (seek) to hasten it. God is too Glorious and Exalted to be considered equal to idols. Shakir: Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him) Pickthall: The commandment of Allah will come to pass, so seek not ye to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate (with Him). Yusufali: (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him!
﴿۲﴾

Sarwar: He sends the angels with the Spirit to carry His orders to whichever of His servants He wants so that they would warn people that He is the only God and that people must have fear of Him. Shakir: He sends down the angels with the inspiration by His commandment on whom He pleases of His servants, saying: Give the warning that there is no god but Me, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me Pickthall: He sendeth down the angels with the Spirit of His command unto whom He will of His bondmen, (saying): Warn mankind that there is no Allah save Me, so keep your duty unto Me. Yusufali: He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me."
﴿۳﴾
Qarib: He created the heavens and the earth with truth. Exalted is He above what they associate (with Him)!
Sarwar: He has created the heavens and the earth for a genuine purpose. He is too Exalted to be considered equal to anything else. Shakir: He created the heavens and the earth with the truth, highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him) Pickthall: He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). Yusufali: He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him!
﴿۴﴾
Qarib: He created mankind from a sperm drop, yet he is a clear adversary.
Sarwar: He created the human being from a drop of fluid but the human being openly disputes His Word. Shakir: He created man from a small seed and lo! he is an open contender Pickthall: He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent. Yusufali: He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer!
﴿۵﴾
Qarib: And the cattle He created for you. In them, you have warmth and other uses, and of them you eat.
Sarwar: He created cattle which provide you with clothes, food, and other benefits. Shakir: And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat Pickthall: And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat; Yusufali: And cattle He has created for you (men): from them ye derive warmth, and numerous benefits, and of their (meat) ye eat.
﴿۶﴾
Qarib: In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture.
Sarwar: How beautiful you find them when you bring them home and when you drive them out to graze. Shakir: And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture) Pickthall: And wherein is beauty for you, when ye bring them home, and when ye take them out to pasture. Yusufali: And ye have a sense of pride and beauty in them as ye drive them home in the evening, and as ye lead them forth to pasture in the morning.
﴿۷﴾
Qarib: They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful.
Sarwar: They carry your heavy loads to lands which you would not have been able to reach without great difficulty. Your Lord is certainly Compassionate and All-Merciful. Shakir: And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful Pickthall: And they bear your loads for you unto a land ye could not reach save with great trouble to yourselves. Lo! your Lord is Full of Pity, Merciful. Yusufali: And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful,

And He createth that which ye know not. Yusufali: And (He has created) horses, mules, and donkeys, for you to ride and use for show; and He has created (other) things of which ye have no knowledge.
﴿۹﴾
Qarib: It is for Allah to show the way. Some swerve from it, but had He willed, He would have guided all of you.
Sarwar: Some paths lead away from God but one must follow the path that leads to God. Had God wanted, He could have guided (all to the right path). Shakir: And upon Allah it rests to show the right way, and there are some deviating (ways); and if He please He would certainly guide you all aright Pickthall: And Allah's is the direction of the way, and some (roads) go not straight. And had He willed He would have led you all aright. Yusufali: And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you.
