Sura 103: AL-ASR (THE DECLINING DAY) - Juz' 30

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
وَالْعَصْرِ ﴿۱﴾
Qarib: By the time of the afternoon!
Sarwar: By the time (of the advent of Islam),
Shakir: I swear by the time,
Pickthall: By the declining day,
Yusufali: By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ ﴿۲﴾
Qarib: Surely, the human is in a (state of) loss,
Sarwar: the human being is doomed to suffer loss,
Shakir: Most surely man is in loss,
Pickthall: Lo! man is a state of loss,
Yusufali: Verily Man is in loss,
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ ﴿۳﴾
Qarib: except those who believe and do good works and charge one another with the truth and charge one another with patience.
Sarwar: except the righteously striving believers who exhort each other to truthful purposes and to patience.
Shakir: Except those who believe and do good, and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience
Pickthall: Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance.
Yusufali: Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.
