به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
الْقَارِعَةُ
﴿۱﴾
Qarib: The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)!
Sarwar: The (unprecedented) crash! Shakir: The terrible calamity! Pickthall: The Calamity! Yusufali: The (Day) of Noise and Clamour:
مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
﴿۲﴾
Qarib: What is the Clatterer.
Sarwar: What is the crash? Shakir: What is the terrible calamity! Pickthall: What is the Calamity? Yusufali: What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
﴿۳﴾
Qarib: What shall let you know what the Clatterer is!
Sarwar: Would that you knew what the crash is! Shakir: And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? Pickthall: Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! Yusufali: And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is?
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ
﴿۴﴾
Qarib: On that Day people shall become like scattered moths
Sarwar: On that day, people will be like scattered moths Shakir: The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, Pickthall: A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths Yusufali: (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about,
وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنْفُوشِ
﴿۵﴾
Qarib: and the mountains like tufts of carded wool.
Sarwar: and mountains will be like carded wool. Shakir: And the mountains shall be as loosened wool Pickthall: And the mountains will become as carded wool. Yusufali: And the mountains will be like carded wool.
فَأَمَّا مَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
﴿۶﴾
Qarib: Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale
Sarwar: Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) Shakir: Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, Pickthall: Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), Yusufali: Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy,
فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَاضِيَةٍ
﴿۷﴾
Qarib: shall live in a life which is pleasing,
Sarwar: will live a pleasant life, Shakir: He shall live a pleasant life Pickthall: He will live a pleasant life. Yusufali: Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
﴿۸﴾
Qarib: but he whose weight is light in the Scale,
Sarwar: but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). Shakir: And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, Pickthall: But as for him whose scales are light, Yusufali: But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,-
فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ
﴿۹﴾
Qarib: his head will be in the Plunging
Sarwar: will have hawiyah as their dwelling. Shakir: His abode shall be the abyss Pickthall: A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, Yusufali: Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ
﴿۱۰﴾
Qarib: What shall let you know what the Plunging is?
Sarwar: Would that you knew what hawiya his? Shakir: And what will make you know what it is? Pickthall: Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - Yusufali: And what will explain to thee what this is?
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ
﴿۱۱﴾
Qarib: (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot.
Sarwar: It is a burning Fire. Shakir: A burning fire Pickthall: Raging Fire. Yusufali: (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! |
