بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
﴿۱﴾
Qarib: In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Sarwar: In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Shakir: In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Pickthall: In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Yusufali: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
﴿۲﴾
Qarib: Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds,
Sarwar: All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe, Shakir: All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds Pickthall: Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, Yusufali: Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
﴿۳﴾
Qarib: the Merciful, the Most Merciful,
Sarwar: the Beneficent, the Merciful Shakir: The Beneficent, the Merciful Pickthall: The Beneficent, the Merciful. Yusufali: Most Gracious, Most Merciful;
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
﴿۴﴾
Qarib: Owner of the Day of Recompense.
Sarwar: and Master of the Day of Judgment Shakir: Master of the Day of Judgment Pickthall: Master of the Day of Judgment, Yusufali: Master of the Day of Judgment.
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
﴿۵﴾
Qarib: You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help.
Sarwar: (Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance Shakir: Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help Pickthall: Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. Yusufali: Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
﴿۶﴾
Qarib: Guide us to the Straight Path,
Sarwar: (Lord), guide us to the right path, Shakir: Keep us on the right path Pickthall: Show us the straight path, Yusufali: Show us the straight way,
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
﴿۷﴾
Qarib: the Path of those upon whom You have favored, not those upon whom is the anger, nor the astray. (Amen please answer)
Sarwar: the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray. Shakir: The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray Pickthall: The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray. Yusufali: The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. |
