Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, (۱)

And eased thee of the burden (۲)

Which weighed down thy back; (۳)

And exalted thy fame? (۴)

But lo! with hardship goeth ease, (۵)

Lo! with hardship goeth ease; (۶)

So when thou art relieved, still toil (۷)

And strive to please thy Lord. (۸)
