وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ
﴿۱۱﴾
I swear by the raingiving heavens, (۱۱)
وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ
﴿۱۲﴾
And the earth splitting (with plants); (۱۲)
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
﴿۱۳﴾
Most surely it is a decisive word, (۱۳)
وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ
﴿۱۴﴾
And it is no joke (۱۴)
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا
﴿۱۵﴾
Surely they will make a scheme, (۱۵)
وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا
﴿۱۶﴾
And I (too) will make a scheme (۱۶)
فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا
﴿۱۷﴾
So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a (۱۷)
