I swear by the twilight; (16)

by the night and all that it envelops; (17)

by the moon, in its fullness (18)

that you shall surely ride from stage to stage. (19)

What is the matter with them, that they do not believe (20)

and when the Koran is recited to them that they do not prostrate! (21)

No, the unbelievers only belie, (22)

and Allah knows very well what they gather. (23)

Therefore give to them glad tidings of a painful punishment, (24)

except to those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for theirs is an unfailing recompense. (25)
