لَا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ
﴿۳۱﴾
(Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. (۳۱)
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ
﴿۳۲﴾
Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, (۳۲)
كَأَنَّهُ جِمَالَتٌ صُفْرٌ
﴿۳۳﴾
(Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. (۳۳)
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
﴿۳۴﴾
Woe unto the repudiators on that day! (۳۴)
هَذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنْطِقُونَ
﴿۳۵﴾
This is a day wherein they speak not, (۳۵)
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
﴿۳۶﴾
Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. (۳۶)
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
﴿۳۷﴾
Woe unto the repudiators on that day! (۳۷)
هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالْأَوَّلِينَ
﴿۳۸﴾
This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. (۳۸)
فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
﴿۳۹﴾
If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. (۳۹)
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
﴿۴۰﴾
Woe unto the repudiators on that day! (۴۰)
