إِنِّي جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ
﴿۱۱۱﴾
Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. (111)
قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ
﴿۱۱۲﴾
And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth? ' (112)
قَالُوا لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْأَلِ الْعَادِّينَ
﴿۱۱۳﴾
They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count. ' (113)
قَالَ إِنْ لَبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
﴿۱۱۴﴾
He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? (114)
أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ
﴿۱۱۵﴾
Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us? ' (115)
فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
﴿۱۱۶﴾
High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. (116)
وَمَنْ يَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهُ بِهِ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ
﴿۱۱۷﴾
Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. (117)
وَقُلْ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
﴿۱۱۸﴾
And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful. ' (118)
