To whom I granted resources in abundance, (۱۲)

And sons to be by his side!- (۱۳)

To whom I made (life) smooth and comfortable! (۱۴)

Yet is he greedy-that I should add (yet more);- (۱۵)

By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory! (۱۶)

Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities! (۱۷)

For he thought and he plotted;- (۱۸)

And woe to him! How he plotted!- (۱۹)

Yea, Woe to him; How he plotted!- (۲۰)
