Sura 70: AL-MAARIJ (THE ASCENDING STAIRWAYS) - Juz' 29 - Translation Qarib
كَلَّا إِنَّهَا لَظَى
﴿۱۵﴾
No, in truth, it is a Furnace! (15)
نَزَّاعَةً لِلشَّوَى
﴿۱۶﴾
It snatches away by the scalps, (16)
تَدْعُو مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّى
﴿۱۷﴾
and it shall call him who withdrew and turned his back (17)
وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَى
﴿۱۸﴾
and amassed (riches) and hoarded. (18)
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
﴿۱۹﴾
Indeed, the human was created grudging and impatient. (19)
إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا
﴿۲۰﴾
When evil comes upon him he is impatient; (20)
وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا
﴿۲۱﴾
but when good comes upon him, he is grudging (21)
إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَ
﴿۲۲﴾
except those that pray (22)
الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلَاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَ
﴿۲۳﴾
who are constant in prayer; (23)
وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَعْلُومٌ
﴿۲۴﴾
who, from their wealth is a known right (24)
