By the Mount, (۱)

And a Scripture inscribed (۲)

On fine parchment unrolled, (۳)

And the House frequented, (۴)

And the roof exalted, (۵)

And the sea kept filled, (۶)

Lo! the doom of thy Lord will surely come to pass; (۷)

There is none that can ward it off. (۸)

On the day when the heaven will heave with (awful) heaving, (۹)

And the mountains move away with (awful) movement, (۱۰)
