بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
وَالصَّافَّاتِ صَفًّا
﴿۱﴾
By the aligners (angels) aligning. (۱)
فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا
﴿۲﴾
and the drivers driving, (۲)
فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
﴿۳﴾
and those who recite the Remembrance (۳)
إِنَّ إِلَهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ
﴿۴﴾
surely, your God is One, (۴)
رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِ
﴿۵﴾
the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. (۵)
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ
﴿۶﴾
We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, (۶)
وَحِفْظًا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَارِدٍ
﴿۷﴾
a protection against every rebel satan; (۷)
لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَى وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍ
﴿۸﴾
so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. (۸)
دُحُورًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ
﴿۹﴾
They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; (۹)
إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ
﴿۱۰﴾
except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. (۱۰)
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمْ مَنْ خَلَقْنَا إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُمْ مِنْ طِينٍ لَازِبٍ
﴿۱۱﴾
So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. (۱۱)
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ
﴿۱۲﴾
No, you marvel, while they scoff. (۱۲)
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَ
﴿۱۳﴾
When they are reminded, they do not remember. (۱۳)
وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ
﴿۱۴﴾
When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it (۱۴)
وَقَالُوا إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
﴿۱۵﴾
and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery! ' (۱۵)
أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
﴿۱۶﴾
What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. (۱۶)
أَوَآبَاؤُنَا الْأَوَّلُونَ
﴿۱۷﴾
What, and our forefathers, the ancients! ' (۱۷)
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنْتُمْ دَاخِرُونَ
﴿۱۸﴾
Say: 'Yes, but worthless. ' (۱۸)
فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ
﴿۱۹﴾
It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching (۱۹)
وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هَذَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
﴿۲۰﴾
and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense. ' (۲۰)
هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
﴿۲۱﴾
This is the Day of Decision which you belied. (۲۱)
احْشُرُوا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَأَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ
﴿۲۲﴾
Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, (۲۲)
مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَاهْدُوهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ
﴿۲۳﴾
other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! (۲۳)
وَقِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ مَسْئُولُونَ
﴿۲۴﴾
And halt them so that they may be questioned. (۲۴)
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
﴿۲۵﴾
'Why do you not help one another? (۲۵)
بَلْ هُمُ الْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
﴿۲۶﴾
No, today they will resign themselves in submission, (۲۶)
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
﴿۲۷﴾
and approach each other with questions, (۲۷)
قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ
﴿۲۸﴾
saying: 'You used to come to us from the right hand. ' (۲۸)
قَالُوا بَلْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
﴿۲۹﴾
But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers. (۲۹)
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ بَلْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ
﴿۳۰﴾
We had no authority over you, but you were an insolent nation. (۳۰)
فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا لَذَائِقُونَ
﴿۳۱﴾
The statement of Our Lord is realized against us, and we are tasting it, (۳۱)
فَأَغْوَيْنَاكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَاوِينَ
﴿۳۲﴾
we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts. ' (۳۲)
فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
﴿۳۳﴾
Therefore, on that Day they will all share Our punishment. (۳۳)
إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
﴿۳۴﴾
As such We shall deal with the evildoers. (۳۴)
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
﴿۳۵﴾
For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah, ' they were always proud (۳۵)
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُو آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَجْنُونٍ
﴿۳۶﴾
and said: 'Are we to renounce our gods for the sake of a mad poet? ' (۳۶)
بَلْ جَاءَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
﴿۳۷﴾
No, indeed, he has brought the truth, and confirmed the Messengers. (۳۷)
إِنَّكُمْ لَذَائِقُو الْعَذَابِ الْأَلِيمِ
﴿۳۸﴾
You shall certainly taste the painful punishment: (۳۸)
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
﴿۳۹﴾
but you shall not be recompensed except for what you were doing. (۳۹)
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
﴿۴۰﴾
But for the sincere worshipers of Allah, (۴۰)
أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَعْلُومٌ
﴿۴۱﴾
there is waiting for them a known provision; (۴۱)
فَوَاكِهُ وَهُمْ مُكْرَمُونَ
﴿۴۲﴾
fruits. And they are receivers of generosity (۴۲)
فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
﴿۴۳﴾
in the Gardens of Delight, (۴۳)
عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ
﴿۴۴﴾
sitting face to face upon couches, (۴۴)
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِكَأْسٍ مِنْ مَعِينٍ
﴿۴۵﴾
a goblet from a spring shall be passed round to them (۴۵)
بَيْضَاءَ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ
﴿۴۶﴾
white, a delight to the drinkers, (۴۶)
لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنْزَفُونَ
﴿۴۷﴾
there is neither sickness in it, nor intoxication. (۴۷)
وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ
﴿۴۸﴾
And with them will be maidens (houris) who restrain their wide glances (۴۸)
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَكْنُونٌ
﴿۴۹﴾
as if they were hidden pearls. (۴۹)
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
﴿۵۰﴾
They will go to one another asking each other questions. (۵۰)
قَالَ قَائِلٌ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٌ
﴿۵۱﴾
One of them will say: 'I had a companion (۵۱)
يَقُولُ أَإِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ
﴿۵۲﴾
who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? (۵۲)
أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
﴿۵۳﴾
When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" (۵۳)
قَالَ هَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُطَّلِعُونَ
﴿۵۴﴾
And he will reply: 'Are you looking down (into Hell)? ' (۵۴)
فَاطَّلَعَ فَرَآهُ فِي سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ
﴿۵۵﴾
Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. (۵۵)
قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كِدْتَ لَتُرْدِينِ
﴿۵۶﴾
'By Allah, ' he will say, 'you almost destroyed me! (۵۶)
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ
﴿۵۷﴾
But for the Favor of Allah I should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in Hell). (۵۷)
أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ
﴿۵۸﴾
What then, shall we not die (۵۸)
إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا الْأُولَى وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
﴿۵۹﴾
except our first death, and shall we not be punished? ' (۵۹)
إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
﴿۶۰﴾
Indeed, this is the mighty victory, (۶۰)
لِمِثْلِ هَذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ الْعَامِلُونَ
﴿۶۱﴾
and for the like of this let the workers work. (۶۱)
أَذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ
﴿۶۲﴾
Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! (۶۲)
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهَا فِتْنَةً لِلظَّالِمِينَ
﴿۶۳﴾
We have made this (tree) a trial for the evildoers. (۶۳)
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ
﴿۶۴﴾
It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; (۶۴)
طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُءُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ
﴿۶۵﴾
its spathes are like the heads of satans (۶۵)
فَإِنَّهُمْ لَآكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِئُونَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ
﴿۶۶﴾
on it they shall feed, and with it they shall fill their bellies. (۶۶)
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًا مِنْ حَمِيمٍ
﴿۶۷﴾
On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, (۶۷)
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى الْجَحِيمِ
﴿۶۸﴾
then their return is to Hell. (۶۸)
إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا آبَاءَهُمْ ضَالِّينَ
﴿۶۹﴾
They found their fathers in error, (۶۹)
فَهُمْ عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ
﴿۷۰﴾
yet they run in their footsteps, (۷۰)
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
﴿۷۱﴾
yet before them most of the ancients went astray, (۷۱)
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ مُنْذِرِينَ
﴿۷۲﴾
though We had sent among them warners. (۷۲)
فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ
﴿۷۳﴾
See then the end of those who were warned, (۷۳)
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
﴿۷۴﴾
except the sincere worshipers of Allah. (۷۴)
وَلَقَدْ نَادَانَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِيبُونَ
﴿۷۵﴾
Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. (۷۵)
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
﴿۷۶﴾
We saved him and his people from the great distress, (۷۶)
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمُ الْبَاقِينَ
﴿۷۷﴾
and We made his offspring the survivors. (۷۷)
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
﴿۷۸﴾
And We let it remain upon him in the latter: (۷۸)
سَلَامٌ عَلَى نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ
﴿۷۹﴾
'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds. ' (۷۹)
إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
﴿۸۰﴾
As such We recompense the gooddoers, (۸۰)
إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
﴿۸۱﴾
he was one of Our believing worshipers. (۸۱)
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ
﴿۸۲﴾
Afterwards We drowned the others. (۸۲)
وَإِنَّ مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ لَإِبْرَاهِيمَ
﴿۸۳﴾
Of his party was Abraham. (۸۳)
إِذْ جَاءَ رَبَّهُ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
﴿۸۴﴾
(Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; (۸۴)
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ
﴿۸۵﴾
and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? (۸۵)
أَئِفْكًا آلِهَةً دُونَ اللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ
﴿۸۶﴾
It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! (۸۶)
فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
﴿۸۷﴾
What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds? ' (۸۷)
فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِي النُّجُومِ
﴿۸۸﴾
He cast a glance at the stars (۸۸)
فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ
﴿۸۹﴾
and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)! ' (۸۹)
فَتَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ
﴿۹۰﴾
But they turned their backs and went away from him. (۹۰)
فَرَاغَ إِلَى آلِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
﴿۹۱﴾
Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? (۹۱)
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنْطِقُونَ
﴿۹۲﴾
What is the matter with you, that you do not speak? ' (۹۲)
فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًا بِالْيَمِينِ
﴿۹۳﴾
And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. (۹۳)
فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ
﴿۹۴﴾
Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. (۹۴)
قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ
﴿۹۵﴾
He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved (۹۵)
وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
﴿۹۶﴾
when it is Allah who created you and all that you do? ' (۹۶)
قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَهُ بُنْيَانًا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِي الْجَحِيمِ
﴿۹۷﴾
They replied: 'Build for him a building and cast him into the fire. ' (۹۷)
فَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَسْفَلِينَ
﴿۹۸﴾
Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. (۹۸)
وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَى رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ
﴿۹۹﴾
He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. (۹۹)
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
﴿۱۰۰﴾
My Lord, grant me a righteous (son). ' (۱۰۰)
فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِغُلَامٍ حَلِيمٍ
﴿۱۰۱﴾
And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). (۱۰۱)
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانْظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ
﴿۱۰۲﴾
And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion. ' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast. ' (۱۰۲)
فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ
﴿۱۰۳﴾
And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, (۱۰۳)
وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَنْ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ
﴿۱۰۴﴾
We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, (۱۰۴)
قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
﴿۱۰۵﴾
you have confirmed your vision. ' As such We recompense the gooddoers. (۱۰۵)
إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلَاءُ الْمُبِينُ
﴿۱۰۶﴾
That was indeed a clear trial. (۱۰۶)
وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ
﴿۱۰۷﴾
So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, (۱۰۷)
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
﴿۱۰۸﴾
and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), (۱۰۸)
سَلَامٌ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ
﴿۱۰۹﴾
'Peace be upon Abraham! ' (۱۰۹)
كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
﴿۱۱۰﴾
As such We recompense the gooddoers. (۱۱۰)
إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
﴿۱۱۱﴾
He was one of Our believing worshipers. (۱۱۱)
وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
﴿۱۱۲﴾
Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, (۱۱۲)
وَبَارَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى إِسْحَاقَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ وَظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ مُبِينٌ
﴿۱۱۳﴾
and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. (۱۱۳)
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ
﴿۱۱۴﴾
We also favored Moses and Aaron (۱۱۴)
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
﴿۱۱۵﴾
and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. (۱۱۵)
وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ فَكَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ
﴿۱۱۶﴾
We helped them, and they became victorious, (۱۱۶)
وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ
﴿۱۱۷﴾
and We gave them the Clear Book, (۱۱۷)
وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
﴿۱۱۸﴾
and guided them upon the Straight Path. (۱۱۸)
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِي الْآخِرِينَ
﴿۱۱۹﴾
And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), (۱۱۹)
سَلَامٌ عَلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ
﴿۱۲۰﴾
'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron! ' (۱۲۰)
إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
﴿۱۲۱﴾
As such We recompense the gooddoers. (۱۲۱)
إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
﴿۱۲۲﴾
They were among Our believing worshipers. (۱۲۲)
وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
﴿۱۲۳﴾
And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. (۱۲۳)
إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
﴿۱۲۴﴾
He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? (۱۲۴)
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ الْخَالِقِينَ
﴿۱۲۵﴾
Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, (۱۲۵)
اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
﴿۱۲۶﴾
Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients. ' (۱۲۶)
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
﴿۱۲۷﴾
But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), (۱۲۷)
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
﴿۱۲۸﴾
except the sincere worshipers of Allah. (۱۲۸)
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
﴿۱۲۹﴾
And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), (۱۲۹)
سَلَامٌ عَلَى إِلْ يَاسِينَ
﴿۱۳۰﴾
'Peace be upon El Yaseen! ' (۱۳۰)
إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
﴿۱۳۱﴾
As such We recompense the gooddoers. (۱۳۱)
إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
﴿۱۳۲﴾
He was among Our believing worshipers. (۱۳۲)
وَإِنَّ لُوطًا لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
﴿۱۳۳﴾
Lot, too, was among the Messengers. (۱۳۳)
إِذْ نَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ
﴿۱۳۴﴾
We saved him and all his kinsmen, (۱۳۴)
إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِي الْغَابِرِينَ
﴿۱۳۵﴾
except an old woman who lingered, (۱۳۵)
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْآخَرِينَ
﴿۱۳۶﴾
and We destroyed the others. (۱۳۶)
وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مُصْبِحِينَ
﴿۱۳۷﴾
You pass by them in the morning (۱۳۷)
وَبِاللَّيْلِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
﴿۱۳۸﴾
and at night, will you not understand? (۱۳۸)
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
﴿۱۳۹﴾
Jonah, too, was one of the Messengers. (۱۳۹)
إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
﴿۱۴۰﴾
He ran away to the laden ship, (۱۴۰)
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُدْحَضِينَ
﴿۱۴۱﴾
and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). (۱۴۱)
فَالْتَقَمَهُ الْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
﴿۱۴۲﴾
So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, (۱۴۲)
فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ
﴿۱۴۳﴾
and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), (۱۴۳)
لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
﴿۱۴۴﴾
he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. (۱۴۴)
فَنَبَذْنَاهُ بِالْعَرَاءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ
﴿۱۴۵﴾
But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, (۱۴۵)
وَأَنْبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِنْ يَقْطِينٍ
﴿۱۴۶﴾
and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. (۱۴۶)
وَأَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَى مِائَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ
﴿۱۴۷﴾
Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, (۱۴۷)
فَآمَنُوا فَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَى حِينٍ
﴿۱۴۸﴾
and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. (۱۴۸)
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ الْبَنُونَ
﴿۱۴۹﴾
Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? (۱۴۹)
أَمْ خَلَقْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِنَاثًا وَهُمْ شَاهِدُونَ
﴿۱۵۰﴾
Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? (۱۵۰)
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ مِنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ
﴿۱۵۱﴾
Then is it of their lying that they say: (۱۵۱)
وَلَدَ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
﴿۱۵۲﴾
'Allah has begotten? ' They are truly liars. (۱۵۲)
أَصْطَفَى الْبَنَاتِ عَلَى الْبَنِينَ
﴿۱۵۳﴾
Has He chosen daughters above sons? (۱۵۳)
مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
﴿۱۵۴﴾
What is the matter with you? How do you judge? (۱۵۴)
أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
﴿۱۵۵﴾
What, will you not remember? (۱۵۵)
أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَانٌ مُبِينٌ
﴿۱۵۶﴾
Or, do you have a clear authority? (۱۵۶)
فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابِكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
﴿۱۵۷﴾
Bring your Book, if what you say is true! (۱۵۷)
وَجَعَلُوا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
﴿۱۵۸﴾
They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). (۱۵۸)
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
﴿۱۵۹﴾
Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, (۱۵۹)
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
﴿۱۶۰﴾
except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. (۱۶۰)
فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ
﴿۱۶۱﴾
But as for you, and that you worship, (۱۶۱)
مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَاتِنِينَ
﴿۱۶۲﴾
you shall tempt none against Him (۱۶۲)
إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ
﴿۱۶۳﴾
except for he who shall roast in Hell. (۱۶۳)
وَمَا مِنَّا إِلَّا لَهُ مَقَامٌ مَعْلُومٌ
﴿۱۶۴﴾
(Gabriel said to the Prophet): 'Each of us has a known place. (۱۶۴)
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الصَّافُّونَ
﴿۱۶۵﴾
We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. (۱۶۵)
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْمُسَبِّحُونَ
﴿۱۶۶﴾
And we are they who exalt (Allah). ' (۱۶۶)
وَإِنْ كَانُوا لَيَقُولُونَ
﴿۱۶۷﴾
What, would they then say: (۱۶۷)
لَوْ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا ذِكْرًا مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ
﴿۱۶۸﴾
'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, (۱۶۸)
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
﴿۱۶۹﴾
we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah. ' (۱۶۹)
فَكَفَرُوا بِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
﴿۱۷۰﴾
But they disbelieve in it (the Koran), but soon they shall know! (۱۷۰)
وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ
﴿۱۷۱﴾
Our Word had already preceded Our worshipers, the Messengers, (۱۷۱)
إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُورُونَ
﴿۱۷۲﴾
that they shall receive Our help (۱۷۲)
وَإِنَّ جُنْدَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ
﴿۱۷۳﴾
and Our armies shall be the victors. (۱۷۳)
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى حِينٍ
﴿۱۷۴﴾
So turn (away) from them for a while. (۱۷۴)
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
﴿۱۷۵﴾
See them and soon they shall see. (۱۷۵)
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
﴿۱۷۶﴾
What, do they seek to hasten Our punishment? (۱۷۶)
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ
﴿۱۷۷﴾
When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. (۱۷۷)
وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّى حِينٍ
﴿۱۷۸﴾
So turn (away) from them for a while, (۱۷۸)
وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
﴿۱۷۹﴾
and see, soon they shall see! (۱۷۹)
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
﴿۱۸۰﴾
Exaltations be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above that they describe! (۱۸۰)
وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ
﴿۱۸۱﴾
Peace be on the Messengers. (۱۸۱)
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
﴿۱۸۲﴾
And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. (۱۸۲)
