سوره ۲۶: الشعراء - جزء ۱۹ - ترجمه Yusufali

قَالَ رَبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿۱۸۸﴾
He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." (۱۸۸)
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ﴿۱۸۹﴾
But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. (۱۸۹)
إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿۱۹۰﴾
Verily in that is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. (۱۹۰)
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ ﴿۱۹۱﴾
And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. (۱۹۱)
وَإِنَّهُ لَتَنْزِيلُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿۱۹۲﴾
Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: (۱۹۲)
نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوحُ الْأَمِينُ ﴿۱۹۳﴾
With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- (۱۹۳)
عَلَى قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُنْذِرِينَ ﴿۱۹۴﴾
To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. (۱۹۴)
بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِيٍّ مُبِينٍ ﴿۱۹۵﴾
In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. (۱۹۵)
وَإِنَّهُ لَفِي زُبُرِ الْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿۱۹۶﴾
Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples. (۱۹۶)
أَوَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ آيَةً أَنْ يَعْلَمَهُ عُلَمَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ﴿۱۹۷﴾
Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? (۱۹۷)
